Famous support dog Beacon is now back home after being admitted to hospital for stiffness, laboured breathing and fever.
The US gymnastics team’s therapy dog underwent multiple tests to determine what was causing his illness.
Beacon appears to have some sort of lung issue involving fluid building up in his chest cavity, according to posts on his official Instagram page.

His owner Tracey Callahan Molnar was able to take Beacon home from hospital after learning how to drain excess fluid from Beacon’s lungs.
“Beacon is producing far less fluid likely because of meds so that is trending in a good direction while we are still awaiting a diagnosis. beacon has some appetite, eating some of his meals on his own and me hand feeding him the rest. i’m happy to say, beacon ate his entire dinner on his own,” Callahan Molnar said in an Instagram post.
The well wishes of fans and gymnasts Beacon has helped over the past year have all been read out to the pooch to help motivate him to recover.
Callahan Molnar thanked those who sent their positive thoughts and kind messages to Beacon, as well as the staff at the emergency pet hospital for their care of Beacon and supporting her through this difficult time.

“There are so many warriors and warrioresses out there for beacon- many i know and even more i’ve never met. i wonder every day how i will ever be able to say thank you in a way that you all truly understand the depth of my gratitude. there are so many messages that lift me up and make me feel encouraged. thank you,” she wrote on Instagram.
“To those who have donated to beacon’s GoFundMe , thank you. as we await a diagnosis, and hopefully a treatment plan, beacon is not out of the woods yet but i’m not sure we could have even gotten to today without your help. a huge and heartfelt thank you to all of you.”
Beacon became famous after attending the US gymnastics Olympic trials earlier this year.
